Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Short version: we don't collect anything. Phantasm has no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, and no servers of ours in the middle. Your conversations exist in exactly two places: on your device, and on the backend server you configure and control.

What the app collects

Nothing. Phantasm's App Store privacy manifest declares zero collected data types and no tracking, and the app contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We — the developers — have no way to see your conversations, your settings, or even whether you use the app at all.

Where your data lives

Device permissions

Phantasm can optionally use device capabilities as tools for the AI model. Every one of them is off by default, enabled per-chat by you, and sends data only to your own configured backend:

This website

getphantasm.com is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site, per Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Third parties

Apple may collect standard App Store install and diagnostics data under your device's analytics settings; that collection is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours. Beyond distribution through the App Store, Phantasm involves no third-party services — the backend it talks to is yours.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will be published on this page. The app and this site are open source, so every change is also visible in the public repository.
